Q. Does Ridley make its own frames.

A. Yes. They are bent from pre-polished DOM tubing and tig welded by the finest welding crew in the business.

Q. Is the frame painted with the same paint as the tank and fenders?

A. No. The frames are all powder coated which is a very different process than automotive paint. Powder coating is far more durable than the automotive paint, which is used on the fenders and tank. The main reason behind using powder coat is resistance to road salts, rocks, etc. The reason Ridley does not powder coat the fenders and tank is simple. The finish of powder coat is not as smooth as automotive paint and typically has an "orange peel" look to it up close. Ridley does offer several colors that match the tank and fender paint. Not all colors can be matched. Powder coat color is not as adjustable as automotive paint.
